Swachh Bharat Abhiyan- Cleanliness Drive was conducted by Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science & Commerce. It is a campaign by the Government of India to clean the streets, roads and the infrastructure of the country’s statutory cities & towns.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Movement) was held on 15th February, 2018 by the PHCASC in association with NSS. Around 36 students participated in this drive. The main aim of this campaign was to focus on sanitation & maintain hygienic environment. The location of the Cleanliness Drive was Apta railway station . Students picked up the broom, cleaned the platform, piled up the garbage and contributed to Clean India Movement. They spread the social message of keeping the surrounding clean by painting the message on wall.
The cleanliness drive ended by cleaning the surrounding.
