Department of Chemistry in collaboration with IQAC has organised e poster making competition on 6th to 8th June, 2020 to celebrate World Environmental Day.
The theme of competition was Time for Nature.
There were total 24 posters were submitted. Participants from different states had submitted posters in the form of handmade posters, posters made through paint (PC).
Best three posters were selected based on Relevance, Creativity, Uniqueness, Originality criteria.

Poster Making Competition 2019

Winners: 1st – Vaishnavi Bhoir and Team, 2nd – Ankita Bhor and Team, 3rd – Yogita Pawar and Team
On 23rd November 2019, 2:00 p.m. ‘Poster-Making Competition’ was organized for first and second year B.Com. (A&F) students on the 7th floor. The aim behind the competition was to show creative and artistic skills of students and also to spread awareness among them.
As the aim behind this competition was to spread ‘Awareness on Social Cause’ the students were given five topics are as follows:
The total time allocated to the students was 1 hour. The judges for the competition were Prof. Sindhuja Joshi and Prof. Sumeet Mahtre. The winners were decided on the basis of following terms:
Our principal Dr. Lata Menon Ma’am also attended the event and appreciated the students for their efforts.
It was an interesting activity for the students as the students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm.

A Poster Making competition was organised by Department of B.Sc. I.T. / B.Sc. C.S. at Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Rasayani on 30th August, 2019. The aim behind conducting this competition was to check the creative and artistic skills of the students.
The theme was “Changing Face of Digital India”.
The students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. Students participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made very beautiful posters which gave the message on India is getting transformed into digital empowered society.
The judges of the competition were Mr. Priyesh Keekan, Mr. Hardik Dave and Mr. Lalit Patil.

It was an interesting session for the students as they participated in the competition with great enthusiasm.
Poster Competition on “Recent Innovations in Science” 2019
The Poster Competition conducted jointly by Departments of Physics / Chemistry and Mathematics on Tuesday, 13th August, 2019 at 1st Floor in the College at Pillai HOCL Campus, Rasayani, Panvel.
Total of 20 Students from the departments of Physics / Chemistry and Mathematics had participated in the competition. The topic given to students was – “Recent Innovations in Science”. The essence of the topic was to update the knowledge of the participants regarding the innovations in the field of science on regular basis.
The program was conducted by the “Science Club” under the Convenorship of Prof. Sumit Kokane and the Co-Convener of the competition was Mrs. Archana Bhagwat. The Chairperson for the Competition was Mr. Binit Kumar, Vice-Principal, Pillai HOCL.
There were total of 10 groups who had participated in the competition. The winner of the competition was the group from First year B.Sc. whose members were Ms. Tanvi Atawane, Ms. Simran Chavan, Ms. Mokshada Nemade and the topic taken by the winners was “Rise of RoboGami”.
