

The State Level SRD Camp was held at mumbai with the objective of selecting disciplined and dedicated NSS volunteers for participation in the Republic Day Parade and other national-level programs. From PHCASC, our volunteer, Bhumik Gholap , actively participated in the camp. The program aimed to develop physical fitness, discipline, leadership qualities, and a sense of national integration among volunteers. The camp provided a structured environment that encouraged personal growth and collective responsibility. Overall, the camp served as an important platform for nurturing committed NSS volunteers.
- Days 1–2: Induction & Selection Arrival at the camp, uniform distribution, and initial screening. Volunteers are grouped based on height and marching ability to form the final contingent.
- Days 3–7: Rigorous Training & Integration The core period involves 8+ hours of daily drill at Shivaji Park. Afternoons feature academic lectures on leadership, while evenings are for cultural competitions showcasing regional folk arts.
- Days 8–9: Dress Rehearsals Participation in Full Dress Rehearsals with the police and military bands to ensure perfect synchronization for the live event.
- Day 10: The Grand Parade The final march-past before the Governor and Chief Minister, followed by a certificate ceremony and departure.
