Every year on 23rd January our country celebrates the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. This year in 2021, Government of India has decided to celebrate the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as ‘Parakram Diwas’ every year. In order to honour and remember Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation the NSS Unit of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce organised a prayer meet at Mazgaon Village. The prayer meet included the children of the village who were told about the role of Netaji in India’s freedom by the volunteers. The children also sung patriotic songs with volunteers and also the children kept flowers in front Netaji’s picture. The meet was ended by singing National Anthem
