Online National Conference on “Struggle, Survival and Stabilization : Rebuilding Global Economy In The Post Covid-19 Age”

This is a Report on the One Day Online National Conference on ‘Struggle, Survival and Stabilization: Rebuilding Global Economy In the post Covid 19 Age.’ Jointly organized by IQAC and Faculty of Commerce.

The inaugural session began at 11 a.m. by the convenor by welcoming all the dignitaries and delegates. It was opened with recognition of MES ‘s two pillars CEO Dr. Vasudevan Pillai and Dr. Daphne Pillai. Their dedication & passion in building different educational institutions under this banner. Delegates were made aware of the institutional profile & structure.

The Key-note speaker was Dr. Marimuthu K.N. Assistant Professor Department of Management Studies Manonmaniam

Sundaranar University Tirunelveli – 627012, Tamil Nadu-India & the Chief guest was Mr. John Menzes from Bunts Sangha’s S. M. Shetty College of Science, Commerce and Management Studies, Powai. Mumbai. Both the speakers shared their expertise as well as their personal experiences.

The Chief guest Mr. John Menzes added his valuable inputs regarding the impact of COVID 19 in current situation and suggested few feasible remedies. He guided all the research aspirants by quoting, ‘Keep learning, Keep upgrading’ The Keynote Speaker Dr . Marimuthu K. N. dealt with the all sectors of the Indian economy, the extent to which they have prospered or suffered in pandemic time. He brought in all of his experiences and focused on the detail study of pharmaceutical sector, food & agriculture as well as financial sector. He presented the need of Innovation and the steps to be taken in post COVID 19 time. It was followed by the Technical Session in which delegates presented their research contribution. The session saw curtains with systematic question and answer round. It was ended by co-convenor with the valediction and formal vote of thanks.

Thus the one day national Conference concluded successfully.
