An Orientation Programme for NSS Volunteers has been organized on NSS Day under National Service Scheme, 24th September, 2018. The programme was inaugurated by Honorable Chief Guest Dr. Pramod Pabrekar. The programme was started with lighting the lamp before the statue of Maa Saraswati by the dignitaries. Enlightening the volunteers about the motto, functioning, and various activities of the National Service Scheme was the main objective of organizing the Orientation programme. For the year 2017-18, 50 volunteers joined the national service scheme. The association congratulated the students for their good response. The programme was also celebrated as foundation day of NSS UNIT, PHCASC.
Dr. Pramod Pabrekar was chief guest on the NSS programme. He motivated the students by his words and congratulated them for choosing NSS. He said that through NSS one can develop the personality and group behavior, simple living and dignity of labour.
At last Miss Kalavati Upadhyay, Co-ordinator of NSS Unit, PHCASC presented a slide show before the dignitaries and newcomers about the programme and activities being done under the National Service Scheme. The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks delivered by NSS volunteer.
