Orientation Programme 2025-26

Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous), Rasayani organised Academic Orientation Program Report for FY Students of AY 2025-26 on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

The objective of the event was to familiarize first-year students with the institution, its policies, academic programmes and overall campus life.

The event started off with auspicious lamp lighting followed by the University song. Then guests were welcomed to the event. Dr. Rinkoo Shantnu, the Principal, addressed the gathering and briefed about the management, academic autonomy, profile and policies of the institution, curricular planning, co-curricular and extra curricular activities and campus facilities provided.

The Programme Coordinators were introduced followed by proposing of Vote of Thanks by Vice Principal, Prof. Binit Kumar. The event concluded with the national anthem.

We wholeheartedly thank the Deputy CEO of Pillai HOCL Educational Campus, Dr. Lata Menon, for her gracious presence, support and encouragement to plan the event. We also thank our Principal, faculty members and volunteers for their coordination and contribution for the smooth completion of the event.

Orientation Programme 2024-25

Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce organized an Orientation Programme for the students who enrolled themselves in the academic year 2024-25 on 4th June, 2025.

Orientation Programme 2019-20

Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce organized Orientation Programme for the students who enrolled themselves in the academic year 2019-20 on 29th June, 2019. The event started off with lamp lighting ceremony by our Principal Dr. Lata Menon, Vice Principal Mr. Binit Kumar and few First Year students. This was followed by Saraswati Vandana and University Anthem.

The programme continued with an address speech by our principal Dr. Lata Menon, to introduce and provide information on various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities organised by our college, a slideshow of previous years activities was also showcased for the newcomers.

Later on the stage is shared with Vice Principal Mr. Binit Kumar to address the new comers regarding the discipline and code of conduct of our college. After that introduction of all the department co-ordinators was given.

The Exam Cell Convenor briefed students about Different examination schemes and exam patterns.

Later on the new aspirants were directed towards their respective classrooms for course orientation session held by department co-ordinators and refreshments were provided to the students.

The event turned out to be one of the most memorable and successful event.
