Event Overview:
On 28th July 2025, the NSS Unit, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized an engaging event on the theme “Nature Conservation.” The program aimed to raise awareness among students about pressing environmental challenges while motivating them to take proactive steps for safeguarding our planet. The initiative witnessed active participation from students across different grades, reflecting their growing sense of ecological responsibility.
Program Flow and Activities:
A key highlight of the event was the Digital Poster Presentation, where students used innovative digital tools and designs to convey impactful messages. Participants presented on themes such as deforestation, plastic pollution, renewable energy, and biodiversity conservation. Through powerful visuals and thought-provoking content, these posters simplified complex environmental issues and showcased the creativity and environmental awareness of the students.

- 2nd Place: Ashmit Chowdhary (SY BSc Physics)
Role of NSS Volunteers:
The event not only enhanced students’ knowledge but also encouraged them to become ambassadors of environmental conservation. By leveraging digital creativity, the participants demonstrated how technology can play an important role in spreading awareness and promoting sustainable practices. NSS volunteers played a vital role in ensuring the event’s success by assisting with organization, guiding participants, and maintaining discipline throughout the program.

The Nature Conservation Awareness Program concluded on a positive note, with students and faculty members expressing their appreciation for the informative and inspiring presentations. The digital posters left a lasting impression, highlighting the importance of nature preservation and proving to be an effective tool for environmental advocacy.
