The NSS Unit of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science, and Commerce proudly organized the Har Ghar Tiranga celebration from 11th August to 15th August 2025. The event was aimed at fostering patriotism, cultural expression, and national unity among students. A series of competitions were held over five days, culminating in a grand Independence Day celebration.
Program Flow and Activities:
- 11/08/25 – Shayari Competition: The event commenced with a Shayari competition, where participants expressed their patriotic emotions and love for the country through heartfelt words.

- 12/08/25 – E-Poster Competition: Creative students showcased their artistic and digital skills by designing posters that reflected the spirit of independence and national pride.

- 13/08/25 – Essay Writing Competition: Students penned inspiring essays on themes related to freedom, unity, and the responsibilities of citizens in shaping the nation.
- 14/08/25 – Rangoli Competition: Vibrant rangolis were created, representing India’s cultural diversity and patriotic motifs, adding colors of pride to the celebration.

- 15/08/25 – Independence Day Celebration: The five-day event concluded with the Independence Day program, where the NSS singing group performed a beautiful patriotic song that filled the atmosphere with pride and unity.

Role of NSS Volunteers:
NSS volunteers played an important role in coordinating the competitions, managing registrations, assisting participants, and maintaining discipline throughout the series of events. Their teamwork ensured smooth execution of each activity. On Independence Day, their singing performance became one of the highlights of the celebration, earning admiration from the audience.

Har Ghar Tiranga was a memorable initiative that celebrated the values of freedom, unity, and patriotism. The week-long series of events successfully engaged students and audiences, leaving a lasting impact.
