The NSS Unit of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce had organized activities like Drawing Competition between villagers children to celebrate the birth anniversary of ‘Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’. 55 NSS volunteers and 2 faculty members had celebrated Ekta Diwas. The main motive of Ekta Diwas is to ‘provide an opportunity to maintain inherent strength of our nation to face the threats which are to the unity of the country’. The NSS Volunteers told the importance of Ekta Divas to the villagers and gave prizes to the children who participated in the activities. The activity was ended by giving sweets to children and villagers and by taking the blessings of the villagers.
