The NSS Unit of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce had organized activities like Drawing and Running Race between village children to celebrate the birth anniversary of ‘Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’ under the banner of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Scheme. The main motive of Ekta Divas is to ‘provide an opportunity to maintain the inherent strength of our nation to face the threats which are to the unity of the country’. The NSS Volunteers told the importance of Ekta Divas to the villagers and gave prizes to the children who participated in the activities. The activity was ended by giving sweets to children and villagers and by taking the blessings of the villagers.
