The NSS Unit of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Patalgangai, organised a Blood Donation Camp under the mission of Ministry of Youth affair and Sports. The main objective behind the camp was to educate the people regarding the importance of blood donation, and how their one act of charity would save a life. The activity began with speeches from the President of Rotaract Club Mr. Shreyas Jadhav and the NSS PO Ms. Kalavati Upadhyay. The camp observed donors of all age groups from 18-year-old students to 60-year-old citizens amid the difficulties situation. The whole event was well organized by maintaining all social distancing norms. The camp received a donation of 556 bottles. The event ended with a vote of thanks to all the donors, doctors, medical staff and organizers for their commendable effort.
