The Faculty of Arts and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Rasayani conducted Merit Day & Alumni Panel Discussion on 16th July, 2022. Around 70 students and alumni of Arts participated in the programme that commenced at 12:15 p.m.
The event began with Prize Distribution Ceremony wherein the academic toppers and the winners of various activities/competitions organised by English Literary Association, Economics Club & NSS were felicitated. Dr. Lata Menon, Principal, Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Rasayani and Mr. Binit Kumar, Vice Principal, PHCASC gave away prizes and certificates to the toppers. The selected soliloquies were also presented after prize distribution. Ms. Sayali Patil, winner of Soliloquy Presentation Season-I, Ms. Hiba Irfan, Second Runner Up & BA Alumna, Mr. Shubham Koltekar (BA Alumnus), Ms. Maliha Shaikh (TYBA English), Ms. Zahara Khandalawala (TYBA English) escalated the academic ambience with their soliloquy presentations.
The second session was dedicated for Alumni Panel Discussion on ‘My Vision, My Journey’. 10 alumni of BA and BA MMC were the panelists who shared their experiences with the current batch of students and motivated them with praiseworthy words and thoughts.
The programme ended at 4:30 p.m. with a promise and assurance to keep the interaction and collaboration between the alumni and the institution intact.
