PHCASC Department of Arts in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (PHCASC) had organized a Virtual Arts Conference on Zoom Platform for the Faculties who were interested in presenting the same. The session was graced by the Head of English Department, Khalsa College; Mr. Yogesh Anvekar as a Key note speaker. Dr. Mrs. Neeta Khandpekar, Prof. of Department of History, Mumbai University had judged the whole event. Around 8 papers were presented in the event which included the topics pertaining to the field of History, English Literature and Media. The Judge, Prof. Neeta Khandpekar was very much thrilled to see the way the researchers presented their papers. She had whole lot of appreciation for the same. Further she selected three best papers:

  1. Ms. Pallavi Patil: War Poets and Depiction of war and its ultimate destruction in war poems
  2. Mr. Linu George: Totalitarianism as depicted in George Orwell’s NINETEEN EIGHTY FOUR
  3. Ms. Seraphin Amanna: Media’s Depiction of Authoritarian Figures of World War II

The main aim of the session was to make teachers appear for Research paper Presentation without any fear as such. Having served the purpose, the session ended at 4 p.m. with our faculty Ms. Kalavati proposing the Vote of Thanks.
