The Department of Chemistry and Programme of M.Sc. Organic Chemistry of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science, and Commerce,Autonomous, Rasayani, organized an Alumni Guidance session in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on October 04, 2025.
The objective of the alumni guidance session is to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
To motivate students by sharing successful career paths of alumni. To provide guidance on competitive exams, research opportunities, and industry requirements. To foster networking between students and alumni for future collaboration and mentorship. The session started with a welcome address given by Dr. Archana Bhagwat, HOD of Chemistry Department. Ms. Shraddha Dabhade, Batch 2022-2024, delivered a talk on the future scope of a M.Sc. degree in academics. An alumnus shared her memories associated with the college and faculty members. MSc Part I and Part II Organic Chemistry students attended the event. The session was ended by a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Reetam Yadav, a student in the M.Sc part II Organic Chemistry.
The Alumni Guidance session was a successful initiative that enriched the students’ understanding of career opportunities and encouraged them to set realistic and ambitious goals. The college plans to conduct similar sessions regularly to support student development.
