The Department of B.Com. (Accounting and Finance) organised an ‘Alumni Guidance Session’ on Tuesday, 27th July, 2021 for the benefit of the Third Year students as an eye-opener for them as to which stream they can choose and to have clarity on the scope of each and every stream of specialisation offered for the Accounting & Finance students.
The alumni speaker of the event was Ms. Prema Mahato. She interacted with the students and gave a motivational talk regarding preparing for the upcoming examinations. Students asked many questions regarding the challenges she faced during her interviews. All the questions were answered thoroughly. Further, she elaborated on the benefits of various online courses available to enhance the student’s skill set with respect to the finance stream.
Apart from clearing the queries she also gave them some important insights on the topic ‘Limited Liability partnership’ where she explained the relevance of the topic in her internship period.
The session ended with a Question and Answer session and a formal Vote of Thanks.
