The Community Outreach Programme on Educational Support for Primary School Students was organized by the Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (DLLE) with the aim of supporting underprivileged students and promoting the importance of education. The programme focused on providing essential educational resources and spreading awareness about the value of learning among young students.

Objectives:

  • To provide basic educational support to primary school students.
  • To create awareness about the importance of education among children.
  • To encourage students to develop regular study habits.
  • To instill a sense of social responsibility among volunteers.

As part of the outreach initiative, DLLE volunteers visited the Zilla Parishad Primary School at Vijaynagar. The programme began with a warm interaction between the volunteers and the school students, creating a friendly and engaging environment.

During the event, essential stationery items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and other study materials were distributed to the students. These materials were provided as educational aids to support their academic journey and motivate them to continue their studies with enthusiasm.

Along with the distribution activity, the volunteers conducted an awareness session highlighting the importance of education in shaping a better future. Students were encouraged to attend school regularly, maintain discipline in their studies, and understand the value of knowledge in their personal growth.

The interaction was highly positive, with students actively participating and showing keen interest in the session. The initiative helped in building a connection between the volunteers and the children, fostering a sense of care and encouragement.
