The Faculty of Science (Information Technology), Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous), Rasayani, in association with IQAC and the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized a seminar titled “IPR: Safeguarding Creativity, Empowering Innovation” on 27th November 2025.
The seminar aimed at creating awareness on the importance of Intellectual Property Rights and protecting innovators’ ideas in the modern technological ecosystem.
The Resource Person, Adv. Suyash Pradhan, delivered an insightful session explaining various forms of IPR including Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Industrial Designs, along with real-world implementation examples.
Students actively participated in the seminar with enthusiasm and gained valuable knowledge on innovation protection and legal considerations in IT fields.
The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session followed by a vote of thanks.
