The Program of B.com and M.com in collaboration with IQAC and IIC of Pillai HOC College of Arts Science and Commerce (Autonomous),Rasayani. conducted an IPR (Intellectual Property rights) Session on the topic “Copyrights in the internet Era” on 14th November 2025. The session was conducted by Adv.Vedahsree Joshi who is a lawyer and counsellor gave more detailed information about copyright and the use and misuse of copyrights in today’s digital world. She also showed some of the practical examples which helped us to understand the concept more easily. The session also had points regarding modern copyright laws and how creators can adopt new tools and technologies to safeguard their work and the same rules can be followed by us all too. The Session ended with a Q&A session and the college expresses its gratitude to Adv Vedashree for sharing her expertise and experience.
