Sports Event 2025-26

Mr. Yash Kharat: contributed to team success by winning 1st place in 4×100m relay at the Mumbai University Inter-Zonal Athletics Championship, demonstrating strong teamwork and sprinting ability.

Mr. Shailesh Mokal: emerged as one of the top athletes with multiple achievements, including 1st place in 400m at various Inter-University events (Mumbai City Zone, Intercollegiate, and 27th Maharashtra State Championship), 1st place in 4×100m relay at multiple Inter-University competitions, 2nd place in 200m, 3rd place in 200m, and 3rd place in 400m at Maharashtra Senior State Championship 2025. He also earned 2nd place (4×100m relay) and 3rd place (4×400m relay) at the Khelo India University Games 2025 (National level), highlighting excellence across levels.

Mr. Soham Mokal: delivered an exceptional performance across multiple competitions, winning 1st place in 100m & 200m at the Inter-University Championship (Pune), 2nd place in 200m at Inter-University (Nanded), and 3rd place in 100m, 200m, and 400m at the Maharashtra State Junior Athletics Championship 2025. He also secured 3rd place in 200m (U-20) and 3rd place in 400m, along with a 2nd place team finish in 4×400m relay at Khelo India University Games 2025, showing consistency in sprint events.

Mr. Bhagat Shreejay Hareshwar: secured 1st place in the Taekwondo Tournament (Under 63 kg) at the Inter-Zonal level (2025), demonstrating excellent combat skills and dominance in his category.

Mr. Harsh Raghuvanshi : achieved 2nd place in Long Jump (U-18) at the Maharashtra State Junior Athletics Championship 2025 and 1st place in Triple Jump at the Mumbai University Inter-Zonal Athletics Championship, proving his strength in field events.

Mr. Utkarsh Mishra: secured 3rd place in the Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo Championship (2025), showcasing his skills in martial arts at the state level.

Ms. Fanja Devi : Fanja Devi delivered outstanding performances by securing 1st place in 200m and 400m at both Inter-Zonal and Inter-University (Nanded) competitions, establishing herself as a leading female sprinter.

Mr. Om Bansode: Om Bansode secured 3rd place in Boxing at the Mumbai University Inter-Zonal Boxing Championship, showcasing his skills in combat sports.

Mr. V. M. Srilaksmi: achieved 2nd place in 100m at the Mumbai University Mumbai City Zone Athletics Championship 2025–26, reflecting strong sprinting performance.

Mr. Kushal Kapileshwari: earned 3rd place in 800m and secured 1st place in 4×100m relay and 1st place in 4×100m mixed relay at the Mumbai University Mumbai City Zone Athletics Championship 2025–26, demonstrating versatility in both individual and team events.

Mr. Abraham Sarfaraz Khasdar Reema: achieved 1st place in 4×100m relay at Inter-Zonal and Inter-University competitions, 1st place in 4×100m mixed relay at Inter-University level, 2nd place in 400m, and 3rd place in 400m at Inter-Zonal events. He also secured 3rd place in 4×400m relay at the International Relay Carnival (Chandigarh), marking an international-level achievement.

Mr. Aryan Patil: Second year B.Sc. (IT) student and Khelo India trainee of Pillai HOC College of Arts Science & Commerce, Rasayani is an International High Jumper Won Gold medal in High jump at Junior National Athletics championship held at Coimbatore from 7th – 11th November, 2023.In the previous year he stood 4th position at world school game is now selected and recruited in Indian Airforce as a sports quota High Jumper.

Mr. Sailesh Mokal: First year UG student of Pillai HOC College of Arts Science & Commerce, & Khelo India Trainee, won Junior national Athletics championship Gold medal in 4X100M at Coimbatore 7th – 11th November, 2023. He also won South West Zone National University meet 400 m Silver medal at Chennai and Also won Gold medal at All India University Athletics meet 400m event Jodhpur 16th – 20th October, 2023
Indoor Sports Event
[table id=227 /]Sports are always considered since time immemorial as one of the most important aspects in the overall growth and development of an individual and the students of Pillai HOC College of Arts Science and Commerce, Rasayani have always been an ideal epitome in proving each and every word of the said thought. The college conducted Intra-Collegiate Chess and Carrom event as apart of the mental as well as cognitive growth development of its students on 29th July, 2022.

There were 40 students who took part in an Indoor Sports event from which 14 and 26 participated for Chess and Carrom respectively. The Program was a very successful one and we are looking forward to hosting more such events in the near future.

Selected to Represent India at Asian Power Lifting Championship, Kazakhstan Shinoj Mathew, F.Y. B.Sc. student of Pillai HOC ACS Rasayani, is selected to represent India at Asian Power Lifting Championship scheduled to be held at Kazakhstan from 2nd – 8th December, 2019. His potential has been identified and trained by our coach Mr. Sidharth Shinde during his Jr. College days at HOC International School. Senior National Power Lifting Championship, Idukki (Kerala) Mr. Shinoj Mathew, Eighteen year old F.Y. B.Sc. student of Pillai HOC ACS won Silver Medal at Senior National Power Lifting Championship held at Idukki (Kerala) and it is his first entry into senior Nationals. He is being trained at Pillai HOC Campus Gym under our coach Mr. Sidharth Shinde. Congratulations to Shinoj & Sidharth 💐💐💐💐💐.

Vishal Lokhare won 110 High Hurdle Gold Medal in Mumbai University Athletics Meet
Vishan Lokhare, T.Y.B.Com. student of Pillai HOC College of Arts Commerce and Science, Rasayani won Gold Medal in 110 High Hurdle of Mumbai University Inter Collegiate Athletics Championship held at Marine Lines, Mumbai on 11th – 13th November, 2016.

Rahul Rathod hits the Silver in Boxing for PHCASC Rahul Rathod, First Year B.Com. student of Pillai HOC Arts Science and Commerce College, Rasayani made an excellent show in the Mumbai University Boxing Championship held at Kalyan from 20th – 26th December, 2014. Rahul Rathod won the Silver medal by beat eight boxers with much experience in the University Championship and clinched Silver.
It is his maiden competition in boxing as he was trained at Pillai HOC Campus every evening, under coach Imran Khan and proves a point in his ability to box.
Pillai Sports Academy Athletes made history at State Jr. Athletics Meet Athletes with Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai, CEO (Pillai Group of Institutions) and the teaching staff
Athletes from Pillai Sports Academy, Rasayani was in full swing in the performance during Junior State Athletics Meet held at Balewadi on 17th – 18th August, 2014. With all adverse effect on their practise sessions at Rasayani due to heavy rain, the athlete put up a brave front against the formidable Army Sports Institute, Pune and the Krida Probodhani Athletes from all over Maharashtra.
In the prestigious 100 meter race Diptesh Utekar (Pillai HOCL School) clocked 10.9 sec to secure gold by sending ASI athlete for Silver Medal. Diptesh also secured Silver Medal in 200 meter with a timing of 22.5 as ASI athlete clocked 22.3 sec.
In (U-20) 110 meter High Hurdle Vishal Lokhare easily secured the Gold Medal with a timing of 14.9 and the Silver Medal also goes to Tausif Shaikh from the same academy with timing of 15.6.
In (U-20) 400 meter low Hurdle Tousif Shaikh won the Gold Medal with a clocked timing of 57.8 sending his arch rival from Nagpur to clock 61.3 for silver Medal.
In under 16 boys 200 meters race Gurunath Mashlikar from the Academy won the Gold Medal with a timing of 23.2 sec.
In Under 16 boys Pentathlon an injured Suraj Sawar from the academy settled with Silver Medal with a score of 2533 points as ASI athlete won the Gold Medal.
All the athletes are students of Pillai HOC Educational Campus as selected for National Athletics Meet Scheduled to be held at Bilaspur in the first week of October 2014.
