The IQAC team of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce organized a Faculty Development Workshop entitled “Beyond Teaching” on 5th March, 2018. The workshop was part of the Teachers Training initiative of the institution. The resource expert was Dr. Reni Francis from Pillai College of Education and Research, Chembur, who was recently awarded with Honorary D-Lit by the University of South America. The aim of the workshop was to reinforce to the staff members, the importance of aligning all their activities towards achieving the Mission and Vision of our Institution. All faculty members from the departments of Arts, Science and Commerce, participated enthusiastically and had an interactive session with the expert speaker on how to enrich their routine duties beyond classroom teaching.
