Three Days Training Program in Research Methodology

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in association with Research and Development cell organizes “Three Days Training Program in
Research Methodology ” from 19th May to 21st May, 2021 from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. every day through google meet. The programme intended to furnish the teaching fraternity with ideas of research to cope up with modern day challengers. Three vibrant speakers shared their expertise with faculty members and students of Pillai HOC college of Arts Science and Commerce. Session involves an interactive Question and answer session at the end of every day training Program.

The following were topic covered in FDP :

1. Day – 1 : Topic: Research Writings – A Valuable tool, speaker Dr. Hemant Chandak Professor of Chemistry and IQAC Coordinator G.S
   Science, Arts and Commerce College, Khamgaon, Buldhana. The speakers very well explained the topic of research writing from basic concepts and how research can be carried out. Also, they explained the use of different software while writing papers or proposals.
2. Day – 2 : Topic: Systematic literature Review and research Writings, Speaker Dr. Ashok B. Patil Assistant Professor. K. T. S. P. Mandal’s K.M.C College Khopoli. The speaker explained completely about the literature review and how it’s important while writing a proposal. Explained about various search engines for literature review and also explained about the different types of research.
3. Day – 3 : Topic : Research Methodology and Funding Opportunities Resource Person Dr. Dinesh Sawant Scientist Organic Chemistry
   Department National Chemical Laboratory Pune. The speaker nicely explained about Proposal writing in an effective manner, requirement of funding agencies ,how to approach different funding agencies. Different schemes available for funding.
