One Day National Conference on “Recent Trends in Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences”
Although the need for interdisciplinary research appears to be contemporary, its importance is not new. Any real time scientific issue requires interdisciplinary / multidisciplinary approach. Therefore, instead of employing the tools of a particular discipline to decode a scientific problem, it is widely beneficial to have knowledge and expertise across various spheres of learning. Moreover, the multidisciplinary approach tackles the non linear nature of the scientific issues.
With the above theme, a One Day National Conference on “Recent Trends in Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences” was organised jointly by the departments of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in association with IQAC on 23rd November, 2019.
