With a mission to spark children’s learning through play. While recognizing that children learn in many ways, the NSS Unit focuses on the learning that occurs through child-centered play. Play may seem simple, yet it is profound to a child’s development. Play makes learning something that happens naturally and joyfully, when a child laughs and wonders, explores and imagines.

Our NSS Volunteers visit an adopted village, Gulsundhe every Saturday and Sunday to teach English through play and child development into interactive learning environments through its exhibits and programs. The daily interactions and experiences you share with the children is how they learn about the world around them. Play is a powerful and important activity. It has a natural and positive influence on children’s social, physical, emotional and cognitive development. The best learning happens when children play. It is important to let your children play every day. A play-based learning environment encourages talking, reading, thinking and writing. Through this, your child sees literacy and numeracy as part of their everyday experience.
Play along with them and you will be amazed at what you can learn together!
