The Women Development Cell (WDC) of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Rasayani in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a webinar on Exam Anxiety and Coping Strategies on 23rd April, 2022.

Ms. Komal Haware, Clinical Psychologist, Counselor, and Teacher was the resource person for the event. Ma’am began by addressing the students about how physically and mentally taxing the exam time can be. She also added how a moderate level of anxiety or stress is crucial to performing well as it can help the individual to remain alert psychologically and physically in an exam assessment situation.

She spoke at length about goal setting, time management, how to stay focused, Instructions for online & offline exams and how to prepare physically & mentally. Self-care strategies such as good sleep hygiene, maintaining a nutritional diet, exercising regularly, reducing weekly caffeine as well as a few relaxation routines were also discussed in the session.

The question and answer session made it an interactive session. The webinar concluded with a formal vote of thanks.

A total of 118 students participated in the event across all streams thereby making it a grand success.
