Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce has zero tolerance policy towards discrimination and sexual harassment at workplace. In terms of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Harassment and Redressal) Act 2013, with a view to provide protection against discrimination and sexual harassment of women at workplace and for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected there with or incidental thereto, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) has been constituted in Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce. ICC is a corollary committee to Women Development Cell with a specific objective of preventing sexual harassment of women at workplace. The Complaints Committee will be responsible for the redressal of complaints made by employees and ensure time-bound treatment of the complaints as provided in the Act. Complaint boxes have been placed outside Women Development Cell office in college for reporting of grievances.
